Cashmere and Lambswool Blanket Scarf in Green and Purples

Cashmere and Lambswool Blanket Scarf in Green and Purples
A luxuriously soft blanket scarf in dark green with purples. Handmade by Flora in the studio using cashmere and lambswool
One of a kind- there is only one of this green and purple cashmere and lambswool blanket scarf! This colour combination is inspired by the hills of the Scottish Borders when the heather is in bloom.
The lambswool has been used for the base colour that runs throughout this blanket scarf, and cashmere for the minimalist pattern. The pattern is slightly textured, so the cashmere sits slightly higher than the lambswool and should be closer to your skin.
Approx 48% Cashmere and 52% Lambswool
74 × 190cm approx.
The lambswool is RWS certified, and dyed with GOTS approved dyes. The cashmere is pre-consumer waste yarn that I buy from the spinner’s sample room, taking whatever small amounts they have in whatever colours they have. These are generally not enough to make a scarf with, so in order to use up the yarns I have and waste nothing, I’m knitting the cashmere yarns with the lambswool yarn I have. Both yarns are spun and dyed in Kinross, Scotland.
